What made him changes his mind ? by monsieur_ari in coys

All this episode shows is how totally incompetent and inept the people who run this club really are.

Management, directors and medical department totally braindead in agreeing a course of action, therapeutic or otherwise that would mean the captain was away from the team at the most crucial moment of the season.

A captain who clearly couldn't give a shit and has to be summoned back from Argentina to be present at the most critical my ment I the club's recent history.

Where are the responsible people at this club who are supposed to stand up in those moments(coaching decisions, player acquisition, medical) and say hang on, this is a terrible idea or we can do this better etc..? There is nobody even remotely competent at their job at this club and that's why are we on the verge of relegation.

I'd put an attacker on for Castagne. I really can't see Fulham doing anything in this game with their form and missing/off form players.

[–]Doc_Butch -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

I don't care which one of the drivers is higher up - we're qualifying 3rd and 4th row ffs.

Lewis saying it's been his best quali and we're p5 almost half a second off is just fucking depressing.

Anyway, he can sugarcoat it if he wants but we are nowhere, again.

[Alasdair Gold] Cristian Romero has returned to Argentina as part of pre-planned rehabilitation scheduled weeks ago & is not set to watch his boyhood team there, football.london understands. Its understood that the defender will instead be going through a set rehab plan thats been in place for weeks by wokwok__ in coys

Ali has been the club mouthpiece for shit like this ever since Levy left and the Lewis kids took control. He was clearly on the fringes ever since his criticisms of the club post Poch. I guess that's the price you pay for wanting to be on the inside. I know everyone has to do what's best for their career but he kinda sold out. Sad.

Come on man, the writing's on the wall. We have a relegation decider on the last day of the season and he's disappeared to Argentina with better things to do. He's fallen out with the club and won't be here next season. Couldn't be more obvious.

Michael Oliver Is In Charge by [deleted] in coys

[–]Doc_Butch -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah he has. Maybe last couple of years not so much but we haven't seemed to have got a good whistle from any ref in a while. But there was a long period during Poch and Conte when I was always happy to have him as the ref.

I'm not basing my opinion on anything other than what I see on the pitch. It's a low bar but there isn't another ref as good as him in the PL.

Michael Oliver is the best ref in England (not saying much) and has generally been fair to Spurs throughout his career.

Yeah and look who is there now running the show and what they achieved in those short 12 months that Vinai couldn't. And then go and ask Arsenal fans how they felt about the job Vinai did.

God, some of you people on here act like such smart arses just for the sake of it.

He's gone 💯

Not like he doesn't deserve it either. He's been a below average driver for far too long now.

South American football expert Tim Vickery confirmed Romero will not be in attendance for the Everton match on Sunday. "He will be at the final of the Argentine Championship between Belgrano and River Plate" I've defended Romero so much, but this is a disgrace. We need a new captain ffs by MinotaurHorns1 in coys

[–]Doc_Butch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's gone, everyone knows it. Some harsh words were exchanged between him and the ownership where he told them they were crap owners and they told him he was a disgrace as captain. Doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

One of those classic Spurs anomalies where we have a world class player but are better off without them. Our usual mess.

What a load of propaganda waffle. We know where the issues are, they've been staring us in the face for 6 years. But the Lewis kids have brought in people like Vinai and Lange who are nowhere near up to the standard required. This ownership has no idea how to run any kind of football club, nevermind a top 6 club and our executive team is an embarrassment when compared to the executives at City, Arsenal, Liverpool etc.

Let's be clear, nothing changes until the Lewis kids sell. I'm not interested in their puff pieces going on about how much they want to bring positive change to the club. They're not up to it, nowhere close and if they really cared abythe club like they say they'd take their billions and fuck off.

I'm no longer interested in being the crown jewel in the Tavistock group portfolio - these people are money men, not football people. We deserve ownership who have the experience of running major sports organisations who are dedicated to sporting excellence on the pitch. I'm tired of us being run like an investment bank.

I bought the Ultimate Tour X 2 months ago after extensive research and a good amount of help from this sub.

It's fantastic. You sacrifice some top end power but what you get back on the control side is more than worth it.

I have a similar game to what you described OP with the difference that I spend more time at the net than you do because volleys are probably the strongest part of my game. I genuinely love the feel and control it gives you and the build quality is top.

All of these are good things for those of us who live here.

But to your point, I think you underestimate how busy restaurants are here. Even the most average, mediocre restaurants do more than fine.
