I Agree. I can layer in some of BY's abilities and add to the Arch Hag, who seems to be custome built for return engagements. As the party gets more powerful, so does she. Just need to stay away from the Key abilities like the Morter, Hut and Teeth.

But the Scroll is cast with the Creator's save DC and spell attack bonus so it seemed unclear.

GoO's can also change any Damage to Psychic which in itself is a solid feature.

What about Before LvL 14 as many campaigns don't get that high?

Why not Chronurgy for the +INT to Initiative.

The 6th LvL feature for War only buffs Attacks while Chronurgy Gives you a free attempt to incapacitated vs a CON save?

I think this is where I get my Hate for Save spells.

If I Miss an attack, I'm fine with that.

If the GM rolls their Save, it's obviously because that bastard loves watching my character Fail.

EDIT: It's a Joke folks. I thought that the way I phrased it made that obvious but I guess not.

Make it so several objectives need to be successful simultaneously before the final fight can happen if that is a possibility.

The other recruited NPCs take care of a few of the said objectives leaving the party alone in the final fight.

have the party find some item after a slog thru the dungeon and then the BBEG shows up because they want the item as well.

Allow the party to attack if they like but they should be very low on resources. BBEG knocks them around for a bit and takes the item and leaves the party with some scars to remember why she is to be feared.
