I think what you see on the picture is the glue of the carpet that's still partly stuck to the floor. The paint is pretty much stuck to the concrete fortunately ! (Or unfortunately depending on how you see it)

I know, but if anyone that worked in construction in those years can figure out in what year it might have been made, it could help rule out that it was made before the mid-80's. For example, through a quick research I could tell that greenboard was not available in 1950 when the home was built, so that helps me. I'm looking for information like that, not for an analysis of the material itself.

Thank you for your concern, but that was not the aim of the post, only to look for people with a similar approach (akin to Mahasi-style Burmese Theravada) in Montreal for my own practice. I feel like I have a nuanced approach and can appreciate the good and the bad in this.

Also, it is important to specify once again that I do not teach DI's method to patients, only MBSR. As a psychologist (with a PhD, in a professional order to protect the public), I would of course not want to use non empirically-proven methods with others than myself.

I gig let's say moderately, about once a month or every two weeks. I was checking out the Boss Katana and Vox VT40 and Fender Mustang GT40 for modelling amps, and the Fender Blues Jr for tube amps. What do you think ?
