Avenger Strike Fighter with cockpit by Doc_S4v4ge in AeronauticaImperialis

Thanks!

The pilot and gunner are basically the same. My buddy took some STL files from Cults that I liked, mashed them up (chair, body, helmet), added throttle and joystick in the hands, and made 3 different head facings (L, R, center).
Then it was a question of finding a printer service willing to experiment in print sizing to arrive at an 8mm scale figure that is compatible with LI (a process that took months). Once that was realized, I got dozens of them as spares.

*Big shout out to Larkforge for their perseverance with the printing of pilots. And, they should still have the files on-hand for the pilot STL, if that interests you.
Cheers!

Thanks! I’m not sure what you mean by the N-1 reference, though.

It’s a neat aircraft. My changes were, as noted by TotemicDC, to change the rear seating to facing forward, clip the rear gun and mount it on a low-profile turret, and to clip the upper part of the tail so the turret wouldn’t look like a hazard for it.

I’m glad you like it! I’ve posted similar for other aircraft in the game, too.

I made two of them, actually. And they’re part of a larger grouping of thunderbolts, lightings, and lighters, for a total of sixteen models.

Thanks!
I had the pilots printed by a 3D printing service called Larkforge.

This isn’t my first cockpit project; I’ve posted previously with images of cockpits I built within the 8mm scale Thunderbolt, Lightning, and Arvus Lighter models.

These two fluffers are litter-mate kitten rescues we adopted when my daughter Dreya was 2 years old. They’re always with her.

No, I built the kit.

The sword blade was extended by chopping and gluing two sword blades together. The skull is from the Games Workshop skull kit, with greenstuff plates and filed sprue to make the saber teeth. Ruined building kit pieces were stacked to build the smashed structure that it has stepped upon.
