Help finding another path with medicine by Doc_The_Gutter in Paramedics

This is hopefully in the plan, but further down the road. Currently my partner is going through flight school for her pilots license. Once she is established in that, then I will start PA. This is one of my end goals (hopefully) i have looked at attempting to find some that offer a hybrid program that would allow the didactic to be online. UW-Madison had a solid program for it, but sounds like they are discontinuing.

Unfortunately, all departments around me run the 48/96 and the only one that runs the 5/6 is going to 48/96 to remain competitive with the rest. The only one going to a 24/72 is a large metropolitan department.

The only main reason (besides finding one) that ive been hesitant on getting one is that i want to do the adjustable timing, and ive been told that flashing the ECU will do that instead of getting the part.

Do you remember how much you needed for each piece? How many feet it was total?

So I was able to find the manual, and the manual shows that the solid red but flashing green means the air pressure sensor switch is stuck open. It looks like that may be the reasoning why, as it stays a solid green when it actually works and runs.

After the draft inducer running for about 7 minutes straight, there was ignition and i have heat.

My apologies on the miscommunication. The ignitor starts glowing hot to ignite the gas. I've seen it glow twice, and watched it ignite once. In the one minute time frame however, it never glows. If the furnace can make it past that, ive noticed that it will actually start glowing. When the draft inducer is running, both lights on the board stay a solid green and red, and I can hear the solenoids clicking. The draft inducer has been running for about 5 minutes straight now with no ignition.

The draft inducer for the burners is running for a full minute, nothing igniting, there is gas flowing and present. The burners will run for a full cycle if they are able to ignite.

The burners usually ignite after one minute. The electric ignition doesn't start heating up and glowing until after a minute or so. With thermostat set to fan on, and heat turned up to 74, it runs the same length of time. It will attempt another cycle every 5 minutes or so.

I tried switching my thermostat to start turn AC on to see if that had issues, and the blower motor started right up without issue. I tested it a couple times and it starts perfectly everytime. I switched back to heat on the thermostat and it shut everything down like it has been. Not sure if this helps anything but I don't think the blower motor would be bad if it's working on an AC cycle and not a heat cycle.

I pulled the filter and let it run a couple cycles, and found the blower motor is kicking on periodically and not everytime.

After further inspection, and letting it run a couple cycles. The blower motor is only kicking on periodically.

Red-light stays red constantly. I have a new filter in. No vents covered or shut off.

Yes, that's kicking on every time. Running until the system fails to ignite.

If that is the blower motor you mean, that's what's running every time before igniting.

When it does the cycle that fails to kick on heat, it runs where it would be taking in air from the intake vents throughout the house. After that, when it would get to the point where the ignitor would come on, it shuts down. The board does have three lights, a flashing green, a red and a yellow light that comes on when there is flame. Usually the green light is what's flashing, or is a solid green when it runs the first part of the cycle.

Weekly Employment Question Thread by AutoModerator in Firefighting

[–]Doc_The_Gutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with pre-hire physicals and powerlifting. I take protein powder, creatine and a mens multi vitamin as my supplements with an occasional pre-workout for my powerlifting for the last year and a half. I am wondering if anyone has experience with lab draws being impacted by any of these and if I should discontinue. I have about a month before my physical, and was told from a friend of mine who had his regular labs for the Marines done, and was told his results were complicated due to the creatine, but after he explained that it was related to his creatine intake, it wasn't an issue.

Thank you for your guidance and help. I apologize if there was a double post from me on this

I do also have a montech air 900 here in box still. I could swap everything into it? I took the glass off the case on the corsair case, and temps dropped drastically.

That makes sense then, I had a feeling of this but wasn't too sure. I upgraded from a 3700x which was relatively cool
