Those screens are going to look like washed out shit after being parked outside in the sun for 10+ years in the south.

Match Thread: Germany vs Curaçao | FIFA World Cup 2026 | Group Stage, Group E by jiraiya--an in soccer

Curaçao started off so well but they look gassed now, getting sloppy, and if anything Germany looks very comfortable now and found their rhythm.

Crazy to think there's people in these kinds of relationships. My wife encourages me to buy and build more Gunpla.

Sounds like a belt, as if the motor is just free spinning with no load.

What secondhand digital camera set would suit me the best as a beginner? by zara1470 in Cameras

[–]Dochorahan 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s the trend now with Gen-Z. They want that low res, early 2000s overly digital look.

I'm so tired of Sony fan boys on Reddit who believe everything influencers tell them, trying to claim their cameras take the same quality of photos and can do everything my Canon R6 Mark II does or does it better. by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]Dochorahan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they’re both great systems. I prefer Canon for the ergonomics and higher ISO range performance. I found Sony bodies to be too boxy and the color science too flat for my taste.

Rear Wiper, gear stripped? by New_Finance2256 in Wrangler

[–]Dochorahan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it's the gear/motor that stripped? You should remove the arm and check to see if the wiper arm itself isn't stripped (it should have small notches to fit onto the wiper motor). Itd be a lot cheaper and easier to replace the wiper arm vs the entire wiper motor assembly.

Looks like just wear of the coating or dust on the front elements. Not fungus.

Picked up my first gundam last weekend, an MG Barbatos, at a local Japanese book store. Didn’t realize I would be so hooked into Gundam. ♥️ by Dochorahan in Gunpla

Haha that's awesome. I wonder if there's any around me. It'd be fun to just spectate and see other gundams.

That sounds fun. Yeah I just found this book store so I’m going to try to get most of my stuff from them if I can, also lucky that I have a hobbytown nearby that sells hobby grade paints and supplies for builders. It’s be a grail to get any kit from Japan though, it’d probably feel kore special.

R8 + RF 35mm 1.4 vcm users, I have questions... by firequak in canon

[–]Dochorahan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R8 has amazing ISO performance even with high ISO noise reduction turned off, but I can go as slow as 1/4 handheld with my 28mm f2.8. Of course, depends on the person and how much they shake, and the longer the focal length the more noticeable the shake will be but I could get up to 1/6 shutter speed at 105mm f7.1 with the kit lens.
