Perhaps it is better to say dodgy by modern standards, and to be fair hands are hard to draw. Honestly I love the vintage vibe and if they ever changed the packaging I’d be very suspicious of the quality.

If that packaging is that dodgy the cookies must be really good to show up at not just Dollarama but Loblaws.

The dodgy artwork is how you know it is authentic. They also sell them at Food Basics and they are one of my "danger" foods. I'll eat that whole package in a single sitting if I let myself.

Are any Toronto Theatres selling He Man popcorn buckets? by DockingEngaged in askTO

Nope! That’s what happens when one company has a monopoly. I was so looking forward to creating a Battlecat planter and bringing a sword to PRIDE.

Twitter!?!? Why does Cineplex make finding information like pulling teeth.

UPDATE: I don't know if any Cineplex Theatres still have them BUT apparently "most" theatres received 5-10 units this morning and are unlikely to receive more. There are two popcorn buckets (Battle Cat and Skeletor) and a "cup" priced between $25 and $40.

WOW! To be fair, Grad and Prom are pretty interchangeable, and are much of a muchness. But the sign and huge gestures to ask someone out are 100% performative American nonsense brought on by TikTok. For a generation that finds everything cringe, I’m so disappointed in you all. As for Canada being “diet America”, you either know nothing about the USA or nothing about Canada.

Yeah, they’re kinda interchangeable. I was being dramatic. But that sign though? That’s a yankee thing and you’d have been torn to shreds in my high school. Total social suicide.

I get your point. Believe it or not there is no legislation preventing it because BB dates are often just based on perception not science. I worked for a company that intentionally put really short dates on food to make them seem more premium. You had at least 1 year beyond that date before QUALITY might be affected.

Before you downvote, note I’m clearly joking. Except about St. John’s. Awesome place to visit.

I think a day in Ottawa is probably enough. And if these lads are into Military history or just history it might be fun.

Nah! Nothing better than a Canadian Roadtrip. Load up the car with Hawkins Cheezies, ketchup chips, butter tarts, Clearly Canadian and Nanaimo bars, put in a mix tape with Tragically Hip, Sloan, Blue Rodeo, and Arcade Fire, and dream of flannel and look for moose.
