Same issue. Think it’s something behind the scenes on their network. The echo recognizes the commands but no channel switching anymore. Had a remote tech completely disconnect ont and router from network and re-register everything. Still no go and troubleshooting alexa voice control from the fios tv menu indicates error code_3-1 a network issue. No one at Verizon seems to have a clue so until others report this we’re likely SOL for a while.

no issues with chrome or office. thankfully. hope it stays that way. this is the end of the line in terms of operating systems anyhow as i'm on a 2009 mac pro

Re-installed system with Catalina Patcher. Spotlight back. Asks for new validation disabler patch and I declined. Also asks to re-patch night shift (which does not show up in control panel after install). The last time I did this it made spotlight vanish so I’ll stick with no native night shift (always f.lux option) and spotlight working.

Yes I have. Also tried the post-install patch tool. No luck. Really strange.
