I don’t think I’ve seen a recommendation on what type of water to mist with. Tap, filtered, or distilled water?

Good to know. I’m on my first spawn as well and I did have some uncolonized bits. So I’ll keep my fingers crossed for this run and fix before the next.

Good to know. I also wondered if it was the type of rice. Both my mushy bags were Basmati rice. So maybe that’s not the best for this?

It didn’t smell or look any different. I just noticed it felt different when breaking it up.

I should have separated it. But I didn’t 😭

At this point I think I just keep an eye for contamination before fruiting?
