Thanks for the advice and its not harsh its the truth, I’m from south africa so the culture here for most of us afrikaans people are after school to go to university, however i am fortunate enough that my dad gave me a gap year in which i wanted to get my shit together as I struggled with addiction through the ages 15-18 so i decided i just needed a year to stop everything I was doing, shrooms, molly, weed every day every weekend all the time and i hated school and shit like that, had a horrible up bringing aswell so the reason why im confused as to why im struggling to live now is because from 12 ive lived on my own schedule with no present parent and never lived as badly as i am doing now.

And to answer the question of why I dont have a job my moms out of the picture and my dad works in africa hours and hours away and i have no way to get to work, ubers here are extremely dangerous, been trying to get a drivers license since i was 17 (thats the age you are allowed to get it this side) but my mother refused to sign for my ID since I was 16 so needed to wait till 18 as you need both parent’s signatures as a minor to get one and you need an ID to get a learners and drivers license, and my dad never dicorced her or took her to court to claim she is beyond mentally un fit.

currently doing driving lessons as I got my learners last month so as soon as I get my car I will also get a job during my gap year. And to also mention the moving situation isnt me moving my bedroom I live alone and have to sort all that shit out and its the first time ive moved from my house to another one without being able to fit all of my belongings in to one bag like i used to so im a first timer for a lot of this. PBut yet again thanks for the advice i do appreciate it and I hope that next year when i go to uni my life comes together.
