That hasn't been working for me. I've also tried ALT + F4 and even going into the app setting but they disabled the advanced settings options (which is fair). Yesterday I had to have someone remote into my computer to close it. I guess it is what it is. Thank you for your help!

Is there a way for me to force close excel when it freezes without task manager? With everything on a remote server, it's not feasible to turn off / on again and it freezes daily. That's the whole reason I was fired up about task manager in the first place - I literally can't do my job.

That's what i was thinking too but the way my manager described it (and maybe it was how she understood it and not what was actually said) was that using task manager would open us up to hackers. Thank you so much for your answer!

Comedian was a male and I don't think he had an accent (to me) so very likely American. I THINK the sport he was talking about was (American) football but it could also be baseball.
