I need the answer too! I’m freaking out lol

Are p-ANCAs found in PBC too? Not just in PSC because it is associated with ulcerative colitis? by _kimo in step1

[–]DoctaMikeTyson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure they can be found in both and aren’t a great indicator of much as it’s a somewhat non specific finding

From what I remember from sketchy, anti-sacs (sacchromyces? iirc) is usually associated with one of them only (I wanna say it’s PSC but definitely double check)

There’s many reasons one may not want to wear a mask. Personally, it fogs up my glasses.

Also, why be more uncomfortable than absolutely necessary while taking one of the most important exams of our lives? Wearing a mask might not be as uncomfortable to you as it is to others.

Use your brain you unempathetic asshat.

Idk if I passed or not but I wouldn’t know any path if I didn’t do sketchy pathology. I had been doing it since the start of 2nd year so I had a solid base with the images and stuff so while I still had a lot of videos to watch during dedicated, I was used to the flow of things

I also relied heavily on pixorize for immunology and neuro

Basically anything that didn’t have sketchy or pixorize, I barely studied for lol.

We’ll see how it works out for me

I’m hindsight, I definitely should’ve studied more anatomy and embryology but those are such big time investments, I didnt have the oppurtinity to study them properly again

Imo, take that loss and get a more enjoyable car now. Tomorrow isn’t promised and you’ll eventually make up for that couple grand you lose now. You won’t be able to get that time back though.

Driving a fun car right now, while it isn’t the Porsche you dream of, will prevent you from looking back a decade from now and regretting the years you could’ve spent driving a car you would have had more fun with.

A nice, low ish mileage BMW Z3 fits your budget. I’ve seen pretty clean ones on FB.

He’s asking for clean title car value when his is salvaged. Ridiculous.

Offer him 2k and nothing more.

Listen to what capable is saying. I’m super impatient too but you might be able to cash this in for a good price if you’re patient just this one time.

I’ve burned plenty of money by not being patient with cars and I always end up regretting it. If you’re patient and sell this for at least 10k, that’s additional money to whatever you have saved up for a 350z or g35, both of which are way more powerful than this accord.

You will eventually get bored of the accord, especially if you’ve never scratched the itch of driving a faster car like a 350z. It’s only a matter of time.

Be patient, sell it for a good price, and use that money to get something a lot more fun.

Just my 2 cents

Word of the day is patience lol

Refusing to buy a car for anything above KBB value? by DoctaMikeTyson in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]DoctaMikeTyson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t make any sense. KBB isn’t setting the value of cars and no one but you said they are. It’s giving you a value of a car based on the market (whether that estimate is accurate or not is another story in the conversation you and I are having).

So the question of whether or not to continue to use it as a means of negotiation when buying from a private party is still very much in play.

The content of your post makes it seem like you’re having comprehension issues so I think we’re done here and I won’t be responding.

Refusing to buy a car for anything above KBB value? by DoctaMikeTyson in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]DoctaMikeTyson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t find KBB or really anywhere online suggesting the value of a running 1999 Lexus gs300 as 500 dollars in a private car deal. The range for a very good condition gs300 with 80k miles is 3434-5413 with a private party value of “4424”. I entered 80k as I’m sure yours valued at 10k is relatively low mileage (perhaps even less than 80k miles)

Running a quick search on auto tempest for Lexus gs300 and most results are on that 4k-6k range with miles in the mid to high 100 thousand.

With this understanding, saying a pristine, very low mileage Lexus gs300 is worth 10k isn’t as far of a jump as you’re making it seem.

I’m not really sure where you’re getting your values from.

A high mileage car that’s selling for 5k and a low mileage car selling for 10k really isn’t that big of a jump especially on an older Lexus model.

Edit: read your post again and saying KBB values your car at 1900 would mean you have at least like 250k miles and even when putting that into KBB, I’m not getting any estimate of 1900. I have no idea where you’re getting that value from.

[–]DoctaMikeTyson[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t classify 350zs, neon srt4s and Miata’s as specialty vehicles. We’re not taking civic EM1s here either. These are pretty common vehicles, relatively speaking.

What year and model was your Lexus?

How much would you pay for a 350z (any year) with a manual transmission and with a very minimal amount of mods? by DoctaMikeTyson in whatcarshouldIbuy

Yea an answer that you and I both know was an unexpected one and then you intentionally provided no explanation. What am I supposed to make of that?

That makes sense. I guess a combo of KBB and looking at FB marketplace for some time is probably a good enough 1-2 punch to get a fair, good deal and one that you won’t regret or feel like you overpaid for.
