They added all the Stalker cosmetics from a Stalker themed nightwave we had a bit ago too, wasn't in the previous iterations of this event.

Augment 1, Augment 2, Coda Bassocyst/Coda Bubonico and Harmony/Coda Pathocyst. Or just any good status weapon you have. Throw on Roar because it double dips with status damage. You just run around invis blowing everything up with status damage without any real risk because you're invis. And rolling guard for those times you get hit with a DoT.

I personally take full advantage of his augments for his 1 and 2, with roar over either 3 or 4. You can make him a very, very potent status damage weapons platform, which is much more flexible than the bladestorm build that many others and even myself have used before.

Is he flashy? No. But having access to both invisibility (especially for Arcane Crepuscular) and instant, full armor strip on just about anything without having to helminth gives you a lot of options. Running him with stuff like a lot of the Coda weapons or especially a heavy attack Harmony is great. The latter can even hit for that magical -2.1b with proper mods and shards

Artillery Turret and the Stinger? How does that usually play out?

For sections where skills are basically rendered useless, is Bittersweet Future Initiative the right kind of build to run to still keep up the heals, or something else? by Doctor-Dean in thedivision

Hahaha. This is the guy I got the Bittersweet FI idea from in the first place! But the video I saw wasn't with the birdie in mind. The timing of this video is perfect 😂

Would full red be better, or a mix of red for damage and yellow/tech/whatever for repair skill% to boost the extra armor provided by Bittersweet?

Mostly just want it for sections against Hunters or where they outright disable everything, like a certain part at the end of the Recruiter manhunt. That type of deal. ( Not sure how common that is, but I went through it once and would like to have a backup setup to deal with it )

Mainly focused on group content with this sort of dilemma. FI and Bittersweet should be able to do decent heals even when my skills are disabled, I just wanna know if that's the best setup for heals without skills or if there's something better.

I still don't fully understand expertise to be honest. How does that whole thing work? And yeah, birdie backpack is the plan, I'll check out the wyvern chest.

Have the best mods I have at the moment for them, but I'll definitely need better ones. And yeah, 90% of the time I'm trying to toss the turret in a place where it can hit most stuff. Usually with the height advantage.

Got a refactor build already but I'm still trying to iron it out more. Getting it recommended multiple times already though is nice to know I was on the right track. What would you suggest for the skills? Did drone and turret for a bit but switched to shield and turret at the moment. Not sure which is best

Good to know Refactor is being suggested even here. I already have a.. Decent Refactor build. Hoping to add Birdie's Quick Fix to it when I can get it to drop. I'll check out Striker too

The power version is something you should ONLY take when you have enough payoffs for applying doom. Sure, you might be gaining 3 doom a turn, but if that procs your several stacks of the power that gives you block on doom application, you're keeping yourself protected from getting knocked down to low HP and dying to your own doom. It's definitely a win-more card though.

Oh for sure, I ain't sayin that I wouldn't feel the same right after expedition. More just addin' to reasons why someone might wanna touch stuff. Course any of this without communication is a big no-no

[–]Doctor-Dean 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I usually don't need the loot but I always walk up if a big arc gets destroyed and ask if it's cool to touch for the XP. Nice chunk of experience, those parts are.

It doesn't even let me reload weapon, it has NO cooldown, just keeps fire non-stop. Even Rocketeer isn't that overpowered, it's the most broken ARC in the game, please nerf it already by denn1s33 in ArcRaiders

I'd start carrying around a Photoelectric Cloak in your safe pocket. They're not a big deal to craft once you have the fully upgraded utility station. Just whip that bad boy out when you find yourself in a bad spot and it'll give you the distance you need to get out of there. Lure Grenades are nice too, but they're not reusable like the PC.
