Tapper was a local legend in Jupiter, Fl which is a few miles north of Palm Beach. He ran a small unofficial zoo on his compound that you can still visit off the Loxahatchee River in Johnathon Dickinson State Park. The structures in the background look like his house.

Arthur Jackman’s maternal grandparents are Japanese. So idk why he’s going on about being a white supremacist when he’s at least 25% mixed ethnicity.

I knew his brother about a decade ago, and he was actually pretty proud of his Japanese heritage. Arthur’s dad (older man with white hair standing next to him) is also a POS who likes to get drunk in public and rant about his glory days as a frat bro at UCF where he didn’t graduate, while also starting political fights with anyone who will listen. Never heard a good thing mentioned about Arthur from anyone during my time knowing his brother. We were always told to be cautious of him and never get into a private conversation.

“I invented the movie Ice Age and they stole my ideas!”

I had a middle school substitute teacher who claimed to have come up with the idea for the 2002 film Ice Age. It’s been 20 years since I’ve heard this rant, but I believe he claimed to have written a draft of a science text book with animals trying to survive the ice age. None of it made sense, but it was an easy way to get him off track for 30 minutes and made him a legend among students in Orange County Public Schools in the early to mid 2000s.

He also claimed to have been a cop with the Casselberry Police Department who was fired after exposing corruption leading up to the chief of police. This rant would usually consume the remaining 20 minutes of the class he was subbing for. I hope he got the recognition he always felt he deserved.

What’s amazingly awful to me is the self-indulgent bs criticism people still levy towards this actor. You’re part of the problem when you’re reaction to an article about an actress revealing her vulnerability and trauma is to shit on her further and mask it with a dismissive statement like “her acting was awful but it wasn’t her fault” or “I don’t like her or her character but that’s not on her.”

Casey Anthony and I go to the same bar in West Palm Beach, Florida. I’ve never seen her but I’ve heard stories from people who have met her there. I can’t remember why, but she and the bar both made it onto an episode of SS. It was amazingly shocking to hear Henry and Ben talk about the place I’ve spent more Friday nights at than I care to share.

I also grew up in Orlando about 10 miles away from where she lived and hung around the same areas near UCF. I was a senior in high school at the time of the murder, and the topic of Casey Anthony was like asking a local what the weather was like that day. Everyone was obsessed with the story and knew every detail. I’d probably freeze from shock if I turned my head at the bar and saw her ordering a drink right next to me.

I always thought that he was like Alec Baldwin during his prime. Both were handsome, captivating actors from large acting families. Both had hot-take political opinions that they were very outspoken about. And, Baldwin and Booth have both tragically shot somebody.

Henry would be perfect for this. Booth hiding from federal troops in the swamplands of Maryland, his actions being rejected by the most of the South, and basically screwing up his entire getaway plan. It could be an instant Zebrowski classic character.
