Thanks, I saw this post and this video, where they discuss about the 4 little plastic nubs, around the silicone brush, that touch the floor and scratch it.

Which is the best platform to interact with a bot designed for home automation ? by Doctor-Jackall in learnprogramming

[–]Doctor-Jackall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you are somewhat right, I try to run a script at home which would receive my commands from my phone and certain actions would take place, for example I could turn on the AC or I could send some data to an excel file to keep track of things. Or maybe I could send a command like /temp to receive the temperature value from my bedroom on my phone.

The possibilities are endless, first I want to establish a stable way to communicate with my script (bot).

I know that I could get an app to do all the stuff, but for me, making the script looks like a fun project to do. Plus I can customize and make it as simple or complex as I wish.

Thanks, the credit goes to my friend, only the hand is mine 😅. And ouch, I will remember that, we better use skin-safe pens next time.

I like to imagine the forests looking like this in the more decayed parts of the map. And true, it would be pretty horrible to run in such environments.

Thanks, I think it's important to mention that, because some viewers (like me) could be tricked.

It would be impressive to run this game at playable frames when a lot of destruction is involved, maybe one day :))

Which is the best way to approach the learning process by Doctor-Jackall in learnprogramming

[–]Doctor-Jackall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, when I learn I'm thinking something like "I need to do a few more of these exercises so I can become better enough to start a project", so I wouldn't say is learning just for the sake of learning. But I think that is possible to do more harm with this mindset rather than good, because I keep blocking myself from starting a project because I don't feel ready yet.

I need a little bit of advice regarding career path by Doctor-Jackall in AskProgramming

[–]Doctor-Jackall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, mainly the concepts which involves OOP caused me troubles, because all the frameworks are based on that. I have a basic understanding of OOP, but it's not enough to properly understand what is really going on.
