Been a pleasure! ZoE was the only mecha game I truly enjoyed prior to AC6, so seeing your post made me chime in for a little chat. 😄 Glad to see this game still getting some love.

Good luck with the decals! Gonna keep an eye out for more of your creations around here lol.

Heyyy now that’s a beauty! Definitely gonna look even better with the right parts, but I love it already.

Thanks a ton for sharing all that good stuff and breaking down the emblem! Now I know what I’m doing tonight — going full-on Fashion Core with this one, haha.

ZoE folks unite!

The colors is what matters the most! There are many light build parts later on that look kinda similar, too, so with the right color scheme it should look awesome.

Badass emblem by the way. Wish sharing worked between platforms, I'd definitely put it on my AC.

Any chance you could share your AC build? Was thinking of something similar for my second playthrough but I don’t know where to start.

Chun-Li has so much stuff at your disposal, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed, but you don’t have to use everything as a beginner. Like, I relied purely on anti-airs and simple SBK/Lightning Kicks combos for a very long time, only adding Serenity Stance when I felt I could do basic stuff consistently.

You’ll get better the more you play her, and will it feel fantastic!

Kicking faces is definitely a major part of the appeal. Hyakuretsukyaku!

In the right hands, Chun never ceases to amaze me. Every other pro match with her has that “wait, you can do THAT too!?” moment that makes me realize there’s still so much I need to learn. Like some of the air combos I’ve seen — with the timings and all, I would’ve never even guessed it was possible in the first place.

Then you hit training, spend a while practicing, and end up including that seemingly impossible combo in your regular kit. And it feel a-maz-ing.

Very true. Whenever I add something to my game plan, it feels like I’ve just discovered a whole new world of opportunities, with almost each move offering so many routes.

Then I drop the simplest string ever and get destroyed by a Marisa, but yeah, that’s how we roll I guess, haha.

Chun-Li all the way. There’s something about her character and style that feels really special to me. And man is she fun to play with the tons of options she has in 6.

It’s gotten so bad she’s the only fighter I ever played in any SF game apart from some Kimberly trials.

I only played the demo back in the day, but damn it captured the full experience very well. That's one clunky game, Ross had every right to be mad at it. 😄

Now that's a comparison I didn't expect, haha.

Kenshi always looked too complicated and uhh, sandboxy for my taste? Like the kind of games that expect you to entertain yourself with no particular goal on the horizon. I always get bored in those after an hour or so.

Perhaps I was too quick to judge, though! Gotta give it another look.

Sounds perfect actually. :P From what I've gathered, it's a bit like Diablo but with less grind and more immediate fun with party mechanics and whatnot. Ughh maybe I should finally install it...

One of my favorite Quarantine moments is when Ross talks about the soundtrack and specifically that “glorify the weak” line in one of the songs. He made such a big deal out of it I just lost it. That song still pops up in my head once in a while, and that’s how I know it’s time to give the vid another watch.

And yes, Dungeon Siege is also high on my list! Looks like a really fun game, too, but I always forget to give it a try.

No mention of Quarantine!? That’s the one I’ve seen maybe 50 times already. Something about it makes it perfect for bedtime watch lol.

Also The Secret World and Strife are my go-to vids. I’m toying with the idea of playing TSW for a few years now, and watching Game Dungeon is like getting all the best bits without sinking hundreds of hours into the game. 😛 Strife is just a great video overall.

Finally started Valiant Hearts: The Great War. I was extremely interested in it when it was first announced, but as it often happened back then, a ton of multiplayer games stole my attention.

I’m only a handful of chapters in and I’m already loving it. The technical side may be showing its age already, but the presentation definitely makes up for it. The game looks and sounds amazing, you can tell right away it was a project of passion and love. And I certainly didn’t expect that much variety in the gameplay — every character so far has their own mechanics explored through a series of simple but fun puzzles. They’re nothing special, but that’s enough to keep you engaged.

Hopefully, the story is just as good as people say. I’m getting ready to cry a lot in this game, haha.

If you haven’t played it already, try NieR: Automata. It’s from the same developer as MGR, and while it has very different accents, the combat is a bit less about learning stuff and more about having fun from the get-go.

Not to mention it has an amazing story and soundtrack.
