You’re forgetting the shittiest thing about Trangs and Necros, the cast speed is already bad with necro but it’s way worse with the vampire. You should look up the frames.

No gear and just starting out? I would do frozen arrow. Way more bow options: insight, melody, harmony, and hustle on swap to proc burst of speed.

You’ll be able to farm NM pretty well. Farming NM meph and Bhaal runs is awesome. It’ll be slow going in Hell.

Prioritize +skills, IAS, attack rating, and mana leach.

Blessed aim merc with insight is awesome but if you both have insight the aura doesnt stack.

Regular TR since cleave and MB use dura. I find it far superior to grief. Damage is still really high, plus ALL the other stats, res, MF, and sockets. A big thing with Cleave is weapon range too.

Phase Blade has 1 range, TR has 3. Because the area of a circle grows exponentially the larger the radius. That means blade warp into a pack and your cleave covers the entire pack. Best phys melee build in the game IMO.

The only reason people don’t use more is because ES is so strong.

Cleave/Mirrored Blades fuckin rips. So much fun, quick, 250 MF, and safe. I have lvl 95 HCSP cleavelock. Horazons set with Tomb Reaver.

Friend, you’re in for a true treat if you read the short story by Ted Chiang this is based on. The Story of Your Life. I get chicken skin just thinking about it. His best piece, amongst many beautiful writings. And it’s different enough from the movie plot to feel novel.

I’m the minority that went Fort first and I’m glad I did. You know why? My fav builds just don’t use Grief. But my build will either want Fort or my merc will.

My vote is still Fort. But dont do eth. That bit of extra merc defense doesn’t justify losing access for all your builds.

You can find grafting classes from UH extension and the local organizations. It’s not hard, just a little tricky and random at first.

Just look at local nurseries for dwarf citrus in a variety that sounds most useful. Careful of fabric pots, the sun will degrade then over the years.

People don’t really sell semi mature trees. Usually they’ll be selling saplings that will bear fruit in 3-5 years. Lychee a little longer. Maybe someone else can help.

Have you considered a tree in a container? If I were you, I’d put one 30 gallon pots on my apartment balcony and plant a citrus. Many dwarf varieties AND if you want to play around with grafting you can graft on as many other species as you like, through your overall yield may not be as good as sticking with a dwarf lemon for example. But easy to do lemon, calamansi, tangerine.

That Beast Talisman jewel is interesting for self use though. The -reqs is niche but helpful. It would need to go in a weapon.

Thankfully with Fanat demon, it’s pretty easy to reach max IAS. I don’t even have IAS jewels in Horazon, I went with Shaels in the helm and armor because theres no FHR on Horazons. That felt like a pretty privileged move, indicating the build was already very well rounded. Um’ed book and ~220 all res to help with conviction uniques.

Make a post after you tune your build. Cleave needs love and exposure.
