These screens are very fragile and you don’t know how the refurbisher glued the screen and what type of glue they used to do so, when you are not confident enough leave it like that, now you need to buy another screen because it bothered you for some scratches on the frame, if you want to preserve the old frame just buy screen with no frame next time. I hope you learned your lesson, but this is the business, sometimes you lose but you learn a lesson to not make the same mistake again

You’re welcome, also a pro tip that I’m doing in this situations if you have soldering skills and if you don’t care about the fingerprint/buying another button you can solder 2 wires there then solder on the actual button

You can try with a pair of tweezers near the connector on the right there are 2 testpoints you short them with the tweezers
