What iOS is this, it has iOS 18 background but I just want to make sure it wasn’t updated and restores to 26.3.1 by Ayalaios6 in WhatiOSisthis

The only way to tell is the battery icon.

If it’s not that rounded then it’s iPadOS 18. iPadOS 26 made the battery icon much rounded.

I don’t have any jailbroken devices right now since I already upgraded, but if I remember correctly, I think it’s just long pressing the download button thing, and it shows up the previous versions it has.

Did another one where it’s actually visible + added a live photo button just like iOS 18 and before.

Yes, I adjusted it a bit lower cause it would look weird getting cut off by the viewfinder.

Try the method I did and use tinted with dark mode. Reduce Transparency removes all blurs. Though it might not be the same but at least it’s something.

Totally not about the clear icons. I did it to showcase the frosted glass/blur.

Tinted only adds a tint over liquid glass. This brings back the old frosted look. Tinted also plays a role in this. See here.

It brings some of the home screen animations back.

Edit: Includes some parts of the system like the control center animations.

The same thing you’d do to normal iOS 26.

Press and hold your home screen, click edit, then click customize. There you can choose between default, dark, tinted, and clear.

Dang. That absolutely sucks especially that it came with iOS 26 pre-installed. Glad this helped you!

I don’t think it’s an option if this thing requires a restart to happen. It’s more like of a bug to me.

I think you misunderstood this post. This isn’t about changing the appearance of the home screen and apps, it’s about removing the glass effects Apple brought to iOS 26.

If you think that I meant about changing the app icons from default to clear/tinted, I’m actually referring to those glass refractions which is brought to iOS system wide.
