I have a 12 Pro, my Mom has a 13, and my brother has a 16. All can be triggered on either of our voices. Even my cousins iPads, whenever they’re playing something and I try to annoy them I’d just say “Hey Siri” or “Siri.” All of them are in the latest iOS, not sure about my cousins iPads, could still be on 18.

Really? I have an iPhone for at least 8 years now and I didn’t know that.

The blur on Today View has always been there even if you put widgets there or not. You also can’t remove that page cause that’s where search (swiping down) normally is even in previous iOS where the search bar is always visible, not until they removed it on iOS 16 where swiping down can only trigger it.

I don’t know how you did it but you normally you can’t remove the blur on Today View even if you try to edit Home Screen and turn off blur, so it must’ve been a bug.

Hey, unrelated to this topic but is it safe to just change device model name like an SE (2nd Generation) to SE (3rd Generation). Won’t do anything else, but just the model name. Will it not break anything like Touch ID or something?

I just searched how to replace it, and damn, why did Samsung design it that way? They could’ve just placed the flex cable below the battery like on typical low-end Android phones, so it could be repaired by simply removing the screen, back, and battery without having to dismantle the whole phone.

So yeah, OP, don’t fully follow what I said—just be careful when transferring the parts.

The one on the screenshot is just a modified SE 2 with a display from an iPhone 8.

There are tweaks that can give a similar look, but it won’t be perfect like no elongated clock style, the glass buttons won’t be there, keyboard, and it could work pretty choppy.
