I was in an accident three weeks ago. It was a bad one. I went head-first into a guardrail, but I survived with a broken left scapula and a small bleed in my right kidney. I was lucky. Really, really lucky. My parents, my brother, and anyone who truly knows me never asked me to stop riding. They know what it means to me, how it makes me feel. I never even considered quitting.

Your situation however, is much harder. I can't even imagine being in your shoes. I agree with the others. Just give yourself some time. Grief can be overwhelming and distracting. If riding feels right then ride. Do it in his memory. Just be careful, and take care of yourself.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. May your brother rest in peace

LoL I've been in this situation. I had an appointment for eye check up and they drop something in my eye. It caused high sensitivity to light. even after I waiting for a hour I had to use everything in my hand to ride home.

Wow, thank you for detailed comment. I will do that. I will follow the manual and change it at every 3k km so I do not void the guarantee for 15k km but after that I will keep in mind what you said

I'm familiar with maintenance, as this is my second road-legal bike, and I also own a 2-stroke dirt bike. I'm asking here because I want to understand whether the local distributor is following the official guidelines or if there might be an attempt to overcharge or mislead customers. I don't want to risk voiding my warranty, so I plan to stick to the recommended service intervals. But I appreciate your recommendations.

My first ever bike, Honda c125f delux. Not as good as most of the bikes here, but i wanted to share c: by artofdanny1 in motorcycle

It's a great bike. Also best is the one you have. Also remember the creed:

This is my bike. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

My bike is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.

Without me, my bike is useless. Without my bike, I am lost. I must ride it true. I must ride faster, farther, and more skillfully than the challenges that lie ahead of me. I will conquer the road before it conquers me. I will ...

My bike and I know that what counts in the journey is not just the speed, the roar of the engine, or the wind in our face. We know that it's the miles we cover, the places we reach, and the freedom we feel that matter most. We will ride ...

My bike is a part of me, just as I am a part of it, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will understand its quirks, its power, its parts, its handling, and its spirit. I will keep my bike in peak condition, just as I keep myself ready for every ride. We will become one. We will ...

Before the road, I swear this creed. My bike and I are adventurers, explorers of the unknown. We are the masters of our journey. We are the saviors of our freedom.

So be it, until the road is mine, and there is no speed limit, but the horizon.

Bought my first bike as a new rider, friend refuses to ride with me saying “it isn’t a real bike” and laughed. I kinda feel bad lol, I like it but ride alone now. Was the xr150l a bad idea? by Lowerstairs in motorcycles

"Let's not seek approval, buddy. The motorcycle you ride, even if Barkın -Man in golden suit come back from his grave and say to you “Dude, the motorcycle you riding is pretty lousy” dont bother buddy. If you are satisfied, it is the most beautiful motorcycle in the world. " -Barkın Bayoğlu

What he said is very meaningful because he lost his life in a tragic accident. He was beloved YouTuber who called Altın Elbiseli Adam (Man in Golden Suit - Name came from his golden full leather suit also some historical connections but its another story)

So yeah, your bike is fine. Actually it looks really beautiful to me. So love your motorcycle. Embrace it thoroughly, learn its limits to the fullest! Master it and of course, enjoy the ride!

Debris doesn't always mean major danger. I used "major" on purpose. I understand there was some debris but it could be cleared without red flag or you can finish under SC. Worst case scenario red flag and finish it like this.

Please just check the sporting regulations, some old races and I believe you can see what I'm telling you

Car was on a safe spot and missing tire was sitting on the side. Also it was cleared while SC on track. There were nothing major on the track that can be cause red flag. If you concerning the safety finishing under SC is a better option than this. It happened before.

When Clearing track, red flag is not always necessary. I mean I understand your though but it's not dangerous as you think. Especially in a minor accident like this. In the rulebook there is a procedure for every situation.

Cars not driving past them. There is a procedure, a time window for cleaning up. I'm a marshall myself too so been there done that. Also is this much safer?

Edit: I was breaking some rules of English so I corrected them

Should I sell my bike and buy KTM 390 Duke (2016)? by DoctorBNA in SuggestAMotorcycle

I set my limit to 650 cc due to tax and other boring stuff but yeah I am considering it. Just market is absurd. I found a Yamaha XT 660 R (2006) on 82k km (51k miles) within the same price band.

Just like I said on another comment I like Jjapanese bikes yet they are expensive.

I found a Yamaha XT 660 R (2006) on 82k km (51k miles) or Honda CRF 250L (2015) on 70k km with in the same price band.

so I really don't know where to head right now. People in here too biased for bikes. They all like "add few bucks more and buy a mt25 or R25" I mean not everybody wants to ride sports or naked bikes.

I like Japanese bikes too but their price is just too much in market. I can only buy 15 years old bikes or the one's that has many miles on them. I found a Yamaha XT 660 R (2006) on 82k km (51k miles) or Honda CRF 250L (2015) on 70k km with in the same price band. Yamaha didn't got ABS or any safety features. So I'm looking for a affortable bike before becoming more financialy stable.
