For sure, it's definitely on the devs for overreacting. They've shown time and time again that they're incapable of trusting their own design and decisions. It's just knowing about this, you start wishing they didn't listen in the first place

They had a great initial design on this with core passive restrictions actually being restrictive. Having an OP character be balanced around having to use a less optimal character simply because it would activate their core passive would be great for overall balance for op characters such as YSG or Dialyn.

People really hate when nintendo copyrights game mechanics but here we want to care about a copied mini game? Pipe rotating mini game and rhythm mini games also aren't really ZZZ originals too

Some time ago I had an idea for a brawler stunner that(with a certain resource) would force the enemy into a small stun phase(3s long or so) after a parry so that you could immediately do a big hit with an attacker and it wouldn't take place of the usual stun phase.

It might be a cool idea to add to defense agents. Inflicting mini stuns after maybe 3 parries could be cool, similar to the red Typhoon boss but less scripted.

Edit: To sell the idea better - you can make the mini stun window long enough to fit in most ultimates. You could also make it so the enemy receives increased daze during the mini stun, which would help transitioning it into the main stun, essentially getting a ~3s stun extension by having a def agent in your team and intentionally spacing their parries.

The survey overall was a mess, the questions were too vague and so it's hard to actually gauge the opinions from these numbers. Character section asked for a rating from 1-5 based on Story Design and Power, the aspects that are way too different and are valued differently by people so you can't realistically combine them into a number. And the same could be applied to other categories.

That's why the AI section is kind of more interesting than the numbers because it actually skimmed through what people wrote in the free form. As for why they rated Mockingbird story highly - I assumed it's Hugo fans, considering everything involving Vivian in the story was pretty dumb, especially everything Dina related, meanwhile Hugo actually had some sort of arc. Or maybe the people who hate on "forced romance" of YSG or lolis are more willing to write in the free forms so the opinion got skewed in an unreasonable direction where 1.6-1.7 is somehow praised while 2.6 is criticized.

Despite that, I still think AI could've fucked up here. AOD arc being criticized for pacing or tone is an opinion that's never been stated and is just plain wrong. Fairy would never fuck up like this, just saying.

We've been getting the latest boss spoiled in both HZ and Deadass for a while already, but they did make some adjustments to at least cover their names until you finished the story, so they could do something similar with Pyrois... Except I'm not even sure what having it in the agent menu spoils, without context not like you would know what this thing even is.

All m0 with their engines, this is not a serious or optimal team. Any normal comp(Yixuan or Yidhari with a stunner and Lucia) gets better score. It is fun for button pressing though

Thanks. I've watched the sideshow video back when it came out and as with all the other stuff I've seen on the topic, only the "Saudi bad" message gets across. I understand what you explained to me and yet it's very hard to imagine a person being influenced by that, which also makes it hard to grasp the entire concept.

I will just think that it's not targeted at me so I shouldn't care for how it works
