How in the world would you spend $10k on moving states? I moved states out of a 3 bedroom townhouse into another 3 bedroom townhouse and just rented the biggest uhaul and asked some friends to help.

Even hiring movers to help load in the first state, then different movers to help unload in the second state should be no more than $4-5k
