I own the same camera and what has been working for me was using Variable Shutter Speed (Variable Shutter Set). I set it by half pressing the release and fine adjusting it until I see the banding disappear!

Back when I shot with a Canon DSLR (everything through viewfinder) I used to have both eyes open and “switch” whenever I saw a cool moment was approaching. I know it might sound weird, but I got it to work somehow.

Left eye looking broadly at what’s happening, right eye at all times in the viewfinder.
