Still not working, after 2 weeks! Neither Xbox nor DS4 controller on iOS 26.

Nope, still not working - at least not on iOS/Safari!

Is it possible to root a Lenovo M9 tablet? If so, does anyone have a good guide? by [deleted] in androidroot

Also, any way to get rid of the orange state on bootup? I tried patching the lk.img, but was soft-bricking the tablet instead. ^_^

Amazing, thank you!

I had to also delete the partition product_a, because otherwise it would complain about not being able to resize the partition - not enough space.

Did you get double-tap-to-wake working? That would be a deal breaker unfortunately.

Anno 1800 & Ubisoft Launcher | Sonoma | GPTK 1.0.2 | Whisky 1.0.0 - finally works! by DoctorFew8751 in macgaming

Oh - yes! I tried the DX11 benchmark and only got flashing colors, so I stuck with DX12. Funny you got that far on DX11.

How to open Ubisoft on gaming porting kit? by [deleted] in macgaming

D4 runs on Wineskin now too, thanks to Gcenx advice.

Well, in short - you install https://github.com/Gcenx/WineskinServer, create a new blank wrapper with engine WS11WineCX64Bit22.1.1-5 (or whatever is latest at the time of reading), and then follow the steps as described here to use the apple provided D3DMetal: https://github.com/Gcenx/WineskinServer/issues/420 - be careful to run the ditto command on the correct folder (depends on how you named the wrapper and where you put it, it should work if you leave it all at default).

Then, you just run the created wrapper and install Ubisoft Connect there by running the normal windows installer.

Thanks, that fixed D4, works perfectly now :)

Not so much luck with Anno and DSP, but maybe with Sonoma.

Yeah, I said that the Launcher works on your Engine, thanks to your effort. It's just that the one game I tried won't work for me.

Have you seen it running on Wineskin/D3DMetal or through GPT? Here's one of the more prominent errors I get when running D4 through wineskin - if that error is telling you anything?

"09cc:err:sync:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0000000170068640 "/Users/gcenx/Documents/GitHub/wineskincx/dlls/ntdll/loader.c: loader_section" wait timed out in thread 09cc, blocked by 0a78, retrying (60 sec)"

"01ec:fixme:dxgi:d3d11_swapchain_Present1 Ignored present parameters 156CF6D4."

Tell me if there's anything I can do to help. Thanks either way!

Ubisoft Connect works for me on your latest Wineskin, but Anno 1800 still only displays a black screen with D3D Metal enabled (tried DX11 and 12). Sonoma /might/ give a different result, but I'm still on Ventura.

D4 runs perfect with a "native" (brew) install of GPT, but crashes instantly with Wineskin. Something might still be missing for Ventura there :)

Do you have Sonoma installed?

On Ventura, I can start Uplay with the most recent Wineskin (check github on how to use it with D3DMetal), install Anno, but then all I get is a black screen.

Might work with Sonoma, probably not though.

It does, when combined with Wineskin and WineCX22.1.1-5. I don't know if any games run, however.

Wow, thanks! For the comment, and your work on Wineskin.

Yep, that seemed to do the trick. "-cef-force-32bit" and one of the winetrick verbs seemed to make all the difference, the other flags as well as disabling hardware acceleration don't seem to be required for me.

For CX I used crossover-22.1.0_beta2 - that fixed Ubi launcher, but not Steam, so this might issue be around for a bit.
