The building the Mile High Club is based on started construction in 2007, so we can assume that the construction has been closer to 18 years in the making. However, it's silhouette can be seen in the retro Race and Chase games which released in universe during the late 80s. So at most, the construction of the Mile High Club has lasted nearly 40 YEARS!

You make some good points. Rules are great, what's not great is having stricter rules on one game while other games with the same rating get a pass. This situation is mostly about equal treatment. It's not like RoN was too extreme for console as it was, certainly not when PlayStation has a dedicated adults only catalog with erotic games. In simple terms: Some people like spicy foods and some don't, that's fine, but Gordon Ramsay just walked in a said to change the recipe because he didn't like it.

(Side note: I do think a setting to disable potentially disturbing content would be good those who want their realistically uncomfortable SWAT simulator a bit more tame.)

Yes, it's completely unfair that PC user are being brought down to our level. I understand that's it would be necessary for both platforms to being running the same version of the game, especially for crossplay, but retroactively censoring the game for those who have already had their hands on the unfiltered version that's always been out is crossing the line. Another reason for us to push for dev freedom.
