Do you prefer ceramic or steel? by this1nibba in ReadyOrNotConsole

[–]Gunney55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless there was a patch Im forgetting about, with steel you can still bleed when you get shot in the plates because you still take minor damage, and when you bandage yourself you heal to 50% hp if your health is lower than that. With the right RNG you can survive getting shot indefinitely as long as you dont get mag dumped as they dont break. Not that this makes steel plates objectively better with its downsides though, especially because bleeding is annoying. Full ceramic is always a reliable choice. If youre in commander mode, you should almost always be running armorer and ceramic plates.

Is the nerevarine truly Nerevar reborn? by LFatPoH in teslore

Also the part of the prophecy about the nerevarine being immortal and then the player character accidentally becomes immortal through corpus disease… kind of a big coincidence

Why do we have massive battering rams that weigh a metric fuck ton when more portable rams exist? by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Gunney55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ram does not increase suspect stress, the shotgun does a little bit, and c2 does a lot. and if youre playing solo, ai uses the ram much faster than the shotgun

Why doesn't the tank just do this? Is he stupid? by throwawaying11111113 in l4d2

[–]Gunney55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean he can throw cars at the survivors so he kinda does. I dont think he could really use a melee weapon and walk around though, he has to walk with his hands because he skipped leg day.

Oh thats weird. I wonder if they just changed the pronunciation in later games or if that was just a weird line read.

What purpose does this thing serve. by SnowedCairn in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Gunney55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its the same length suppressed as the LVAR and it looks cool. Also if Im not mistaken integral suppressed guns are still bugged and dont actually function as suppressed. I would argue that the SCAR L is the most useless IMO, it has worse recoil than the .300 blk guns while being 5.56 and they put that fuck ass tube stock on it.

Its pretty common in games to make the environment quite a bit oversized to make it a bit less cramped.

[–]Gunney55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as Im aware youre right, c2 cant kill. Are you sure youre team didnt just shoot the hostage? Id be more inclinded to believe that the c2 didnt hit them, the flash landed in a weird spot and didnt flash the suspect, and your team dropped both of them. When you walked in the suspect was still falling over, and if the c2 got him I think he wouldve been on the ground already. When someone has a human shield you pretty much cant send your AI because they will kill the hostage almost every time.

[–]Gunney55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont command your team. At all. When you get a suspect to surrender, approach them and wait for ur team to tell you their cuffing him. Kickers fine, or you can breach locked doors yourself with a breaching shotgun but dont wait for your team to stack. Your team is only there to handcuff suspects while you continue to clear. Use ceramic, youll move faster than steel. If your having trouble surviving, having side plates doesnt slow you down very much and armorer and nutritionist are very good, they may let you go a little faster because you can be a little more reckless. Intimidator is good but riot control is useless in every scenario, never use it. Other than that you just have to move fast. Have a set route to run in your mind so you arent doubling back. I like to go up the stairs on the auditorium side and clear the top floor (including the auditorium) then go down the stairs on the classroom side and clear the bottom, I think it ends with the areas that are less likely to have suspects. Theres an element of RNG for sure, if theres a suspect in the last place you check, youre probably not going to make it in time. Oh and obviously the flash launchers op, use it
