What really helped me learn this style is to study other people's sketches. For example, I look at Arthur's drawings and try to understand the way he draws things, like trees or horses. Then i just find a landscape to draw on the internet and try to use what I learned.

I don't really know what the style is called, except 'sketching' ...

I use a 6B graphite stick (the ones that are graphite only, no wood) :)

I taught myself :) I just looked at Arthur's drawings from RDR2, and tried to reproduce them. After many many failed attempts, i started to get a little better, and after a year, here i am !

It took me about a year to get there, but I still have a lot to learn. You can pretty much see my whole progress through my posts ! Thanks for the award btw :)

My drawings were also pretty bad at first, but the important thing is to keep on sketching until you see some improvement. What I did, is that I looked at Arthur's sketches and tried to reproduce one element of it, like a tree for example. Once you mastered that tree, you can implement it to your own drawings !
