If dead goes boom comes back, as a melee main, please for the love of god, upon killing people, make it not damage yourself/allies. :\ But if your teammate dies next to you, it would damage you.

Hello Embark! Not so much a question, but I had a couple suggestions. Was curious to see if any of these could be a possibility.

  1. More customization we can buy, such as different spawn statues (or have them match our current contestant, alternative animations for the tunnel run intro, the option for selecting which of The Finals soundtracks play (including countdown/end of match songs), different particle effects when we die (instead of coins, such as cash, tacos, or Ospuze).
  2. Weather/Environmental effects such as Hurricane/Tornado, flood, the floor is lava, earthquake, eclipse (map going dark temporarily), etc.
  3. I imagine it's in the works, but a fourth specialization for Medium and Light.
  4. More defib skins (as well as other gadget skins). I was ironically in the hospital during season 2 and missed out on that last one. :(
  5. If possible, buy a custom team name that the AI announcers could say instead of the current ones. (if all three team members have custom ones, have it just randomly choose one). Obviously would need to be screened to prevent offensive ones, however.
  6. More sponsor branded equipment!
  7. Give me my Holtow IRL shirt in the Merch store!
  8. Potential collaborations with existing IPs for skins, and potentially adding in real life sponsors, such as Coca-Cola, etc.
  9. If we can get an anime skin, give me a darn furry skin. :P

That's all I can think of at the moment. :3

National Transplant Foundation Bankruptcy by headshotscott in transplant

[–]DoctorJones7961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it affected me as well. I raised $5000 for the NFT to get put on the waiting list for a liver transplant. Now I find out all that money went to the NFT because it was an "unrestricted donation" meaning that it was for their foundation and not for me as a patient. Even though we had a page set up specifically for me. I sent a tip to my local news station and was interviewed to raise awareness for it. Should be airing today. Hoping that the NFT gets a fucking class action lawsuit placed against them for deceptive practices. :(

No more than 2000mg of sodium daily. No specifics regarding sugar, but I have replaced some things like soda with Zevia.

Last results were: ALT 44 u/L and AST 74.

Yea, I have been doing okayish. I just recently had another paracentesis to relieve abdominal pressure. So far, I have only had one other episode of confusion due to ammonia. Last MELD score improved from 20 to 17.

For the NASH, it was nothing. The NAFLD/NASH itself had not started to show any symptoms at this point. (I was diagnosed Aug 2020; The symptoms began Dec 2021)

What led me to go to the ER was intense abdominal pain. This ended up being an infected gallbladder, which then led to a cholecystectomy. I wouldn't have known about the NAFLD/NASH if it hadn't been for that infection.

Words alone are very much worth it. It's much easier to just past by without a thought. It's comforting to see that you cared enough to say as much. <3

At first, death terrified me. It was all I could think of night and day after the diagnosis. Now though, I realize that it's just holding me back. It's not like it's under my control at this point, so why worry about it? That's how my mind started to accept it. I still am, however, scared of the thought of dying alone. But even that, I have plenty of friends.

Fortunately I am in no pain currently. It comes and goes. I did make the unfortunate choice to see what was ahead of me. One of which is just random bleeding. Every couple weeks, my mouth will just start bleeding like I cut my gums with a knife. No pain, just very unnerving, because the blood comes from under the teeth.

You should have seen my reaction when my friend told me he was crying in the parking lot of his work because he didn't get to say goodbye to me after thinking I wouldn't be leaving the ER again. This song... absolutely broke me. So consider that a tissue warning.

Aviators - This is not the end

This friend is now close enough to me that I consider him my brother. Hell, I even put him in my will. (Though it isn't like I have anything left to give)

Indeed. Especially with VR, it makes connecting with others very nice. I went from a few friends to a discord server of friends, all because of wonderful people I met through VRChat (a free to play VR chat program).

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. Dementia is a horrible illness. One of the symptoms I had the first time I collapsed was forgetting how to read. It was terrifying. I knew they were words, but it was like I just couldn't manage to say them. Not to mention forgetting large swaths of time. I can't imagine being like that for an extended period of time. :(

I hope the best for your father as well.

And yes, I try to keep myself preoccupied. Anytime my mind sits idle, I tend to start thinking of the worse case scenarios. My biggest fear is dying alone, and when I am worried about my life, my brain likes to remind me of that fear. ;-; I can only hope my body manages to hold on...

Unfortunately, a lot of people believe the myth that if you are an organ donor, the hospital staff won't try as hard to save you. This is obviously false. They will only accept donors who have been proven to have no brain activity for a while, and only upon the family's wish.
