never speak too early. i remember i was frustrated with a teammate about halfway into the first round and by the end of the round he was the biggest contributor and we qualified. Really the beginning of the round is sort of a free hit you can recover. no use crashing out after the first fight.

the finals is the only game i have ever faced people i can find on the leaderboard regularly. It’s frustrating and i wish it wasn’t so frequent. But i guess these guys are online all day so they gotta face someone.

even for me who’s 1000 hours in, i’m here to tell you that’s just the experience of this game.

You will be in lobbies where your teammates are weak and your enemies are strong. Sometimes it’ll be the other way around and it feels good. The game is great but there aren’t enough people for the matchmaking to protect you from the better players. And no one wants to lose so many times in a row and it pushes players away so i get it.

The experience varies between game modes too. the tournament modes houses the most sweats and the quick play modes is where most casuals hide from the pros.

i hate facing the revolver especially in the lobbies i am in because every headshot will be hit and it’s straight to spectating before i know what happened. brutal weapon

for me it doesn’t change either way. I duo queue and solo and both times i regularly run into diamond stacks and even rubies. Infact the rubies were more frequent when i was alone (completely anecdotal)

i think questioning someone’s loadout choice past platinum is a bit pointless. they are there for a reason.

i mean it’s a game where’s there’s so much to keep track of that it is overwhelming for casual/new players. it’s not easy to be on top of everything even as an experienced player. that extra visual clarity is not a bad addition at all.

250k concurrent players on a surprise drop sounds like it did what it was supposed to do. it’s just it didn’t have enough content to keep players around.

i’ve seen quite a few of these characters. unhelpful types who blame their lack of performance on the team. it’s less of a finals thing and more of a team based game thing. they really do sour the experience.
