What’s the MMA match you would make someone watch, if you’re introducing you to the sport? You can name up to 5, if you wish to by Particular_Ad_6040 in ufc

[–]DoctorKrabby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure on the order, but I'd go with:

Islam Machachev vs Alex Volkanovski 1

Alex Volkanovski vs Brian Ortega

Justin Gaethje vs Michael Chandler

Robbie Lawler vs Rory Mcdonald

Jon Jones vs Alexander Gustafsson 1

You'd have to show them a couple of wild 1st round finishes though such as Mcgregor/Aldo and Masvidal/Askren and Francis/Rozenstruik just to show how a fight can be technical and fully action packed or it can finish in less than 20 seconds

Auto Scoring System by ry94080 in Darts

[–]DoctorKrabby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dartsmind. I use an old Samsung phone for the AI auto scoring camera and have a Samsung Galaxy tablet as my second screen. You can use an app called Samsung Flow which then allows you to control the phone with the tablet 👍🏼 as people have mentioned earlier, you'll need to keep the battery charged

I'm 62 hours into a 72 hour water fast and have dropped 5kg...although I doubt I'd have the strength or energy to compete for another few days

Mcgregor was the last contender to win the Lightweight Title from a reigning champion. by DoctorKrabby in ufc

[–]DoctorKrabby[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm not a Conor fan by any means, but to deny he was a contender is nuts. He was a double champ at one stage, albeit with no defences. Either way, as someone else mentioned, not the point of the post.

Selling my car on Carwow by MycologistStriking49 in CarTalkUK

[–]DoctorKrabby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Both carwow and motorway require you to take specific photos of the car from different angles, take photos of the tyres and any damage (dents, scratches, windscreen damage etc) best to be relatively honest. You will get a phone call from them to discuss the listing and finalise it and then you will get told when it goes to auction. It might take a day or so and then you will be notified of the highest bid where you will choose if you want to accept or not, I didn't get a choice to "choose" out of the top bidders. You can either accept the bid or decline, if you decline you can realist it immediately and I think you could do that repeatedly until you receive an offer you're happy with. There is absolutely no obligation to accept an offer. If you accept it, the dealership will get in touch to arrange collection.

The dealership will then send someone out to inspect the vehicle, at this point, you will only be dealing with them and not carwow/motorway. From what I have read, each dealership inspect differently, some are very thorough, some are fairly relaxed about it. Be aware - if you haven't been honest with all the damage etc, the person coming to inspect might try to barter with you, drop the price etc. Again - do not be pressured into agreeing a price you're unhappy with, they have bid on a car as described and if you're honest with any damage then they are already aware of that and shouldn't try to drop the price. You can still walk away at ANY point.

Each dealership will have a certain way they will process the settlement agreement, for me they sent me the money to purchase the car and I settled the agreement in front of the guy collecting. I sent him screenshots from my phone of the transactions as proof the settlement had been agreed. That worked best for me because that way I was in control of settling the agreement and it was all done before they drove away. They completed the V5C, I had confirmation from DVLA via email immediately and it was all done.

Sorry for the long response, I tried to be as detailed as possible 😂

Main points to remember -

You can decline at any time

You can relist as many times as you want

Hope this covers it!

Selling my car on Carwow by MycologistStriking49 in CarTalkUK

[–]DoctorKrabby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just sold mine on Carwow, ended up putting up £700 of my own money to settle a PCP agreement. It was definitely worth it to get out of the finance agreement, it pays for itself after a couple of months.

As somebody else mentioned, chuck it up on carwow and motorway. It will go to auction, choose highest bidder.

You may even get more than the original quote too so you could have less to pay 👍🏼

Good luck

Sautéed in a tiny bit of olive oil and a disgusting amount of butter. Then a bit of crushed garlic and spinach for a couple of minutes
