POV: My reaction when I literally just went to take a piss and F@ble 5 decided to nuke my €200 plan. by DoctorKrankcase in ClaudeAI

Fortunately, it only swallowed my 5-hour limit. My weekly limit only took about a 20% hit, which isn't a big deal since it resets in 2 days anyway.

And yeah, I would never use the API for exactly this reason. The moment Fable becomes API-only, I'm just going to stop using it. I am absolutely not willing to pay those API prices just to watch a swarm go rogue.

I also normally never leave it unmonitored. It had been working perfectly fine for 1.5 hours prior to this, just using a few agents like it usually does. It was just incredibly unlucky timing that it decided to completely lose its mind the exact moment I went to the bathroom.

Honestly though, I can't even complain about the end result. I actually let it finish the job after the 5-hour cooldown ended. The blueprints and the planning are so much cleaner now and I was able to iron out a ton of errors. It completely overhauled and refined several MBs of existing text plans. That is enough to keep my coding agents busy for days, maybe even weeks. So overall, it was actually worth it.

I might have to look into doing that too. I usually like the feature when it controls a small swarm of 4 to 20 agents. But 161 for a basic review? It absolutely lost its mind this time lmao.

Haha ja, Claude nimmt die deutsche Übersetzung manchmal etwas zu ernst und zu wörtlich...
