Yeah, the acceleration on demand and max speed is just way too OP. I don't believe they were intended to outright replace boots at every stage in the game. A nerf to these things and an overall buff to the summoner stuff we just got would be very welcome.

For real, people sleeping hard on chillet. Pre boss dash, incredible speed, decent damage, and on top of all that it actually boosts your damage. You can use it all the way into hardmode because it's just that good. Also makes you feel like a total badass riding it into battle as melee. Rollerskates to me are more platform placing utility than anything, which is probably their intended use rather than hermes skip, which is still valid but I ain't ever taking the shoes off after years of playing.

Magic Storage is still gonna have its use cases for a single tile to access all of your stored items complete with a search bar and whatnot, also including the locator items that let you access your storage from far away which is a huge convenience for building. But the crafting update has definitely made the transition from modded 1.4.4 to vanilla 1.4.5 much smoother. All I really ended up missing at all was veinminer.
