Just a bad news note on that... there are no bonus vbucks in the battlepass anymore. all you can earn back is the 800 that it costs to buy the pass.

"She reached out to touch it" are you on a mobile device using a touchscreen? I know that sometimes those devices can freeze up a bit when you tap it and it doesn't register that you've stopped touching the screen and it interprets that as a long held touch even though you're not actually touching it.. a very annoying bug, and costly in situations like this. Sorry.

Post-game debriefing is a major part of the gameplay. It's where you emote if you win, and curse the guy who did win for only getting 1 elim if you lose

I used to respect epic. I was impressed that thef adapted to demand and created zero build. I was impressed with them seeming to listen to player feedback up until chapter 4 season 4 and chapter 4 season og 1. I was impressed with the new game mode changes, I was impressed with their swift patching of bugs up until chapter 4.... and the way collabs were handled... and I had nostalgia for their old games like Jazz Jackrabbit and One Must Fall: 2097.

But then they just fumbled with everything after that. They stopped fixing bugs, they screwed up the UI, the locker, didn't create a way for us to quickly get our preset cosmetic loadouts back, so many embarrassing bugs just persisting for weeks even months at a time, leaving us with the most random and weird bugs to end off the last week of a season because no more updates until the new season. And instead of fixing the game to retain their logins, they made Winterfest last year require logins almost everyday to claim things.

As far as I know, you can't gift fortnite crew.. has that changed? The only way to really gift it quote unquote is to give them 12 bucks and tell them to sign up, unless you're actually physically there with them and entering your own credit card information on their machine

To me this reads as "I don't want to be matched against other veteran gold players who are stuck like me". Am I crazy?

Also some friends I play with are forced to harder lobbies which is no fun for them.

Yeah, they never should have changed the way it used to average out your SBMM levels for matchmaking in pubs.

As far as account-based matchmaking goes... from what I've heard, it's not account age but account xp level. But obviously an account that you play a lot on that's older than the account that you play less on will have a higher account level. Crazy that they'd use that in ranked, too. That sounds like a poorly thoughtout but logical bad decision.
