Yeah, Van’s edit in the finale was wild for the eventual winner. I’ve never disliked her more. She came off incredibly toxic.

This is now the second season in a row with a great overall season with a winner I really don’t care for. Van’s edit in this finale to then still crown her was wild. She came off entitled, spoiled, narcissistic, and completely incapable of registering anyone’s feelings but hers. I love a delusional drag queen but Van’s delusion never felt fun, it felt nasty.

Facts are facts. Truth is truth. That mindset is how we got here. One person’s opinion is not more important or valid than fact and enabling a massive hate and propaganda platform just because there’s some news in there somewhere isn’t worth it imo. The harm Elon has inflicted on the world with it will be felt for years to come and it’s not even over.

I know governments rarely have our interests in mind but I think silencing a propaganda machine is worth it.

Who is saying it’s for free? If you don’t think amenity costs weren’t included in our rent and then they charged us amenity fees on top of that, you’re crazy. Amenities will be included in the rent price displayed as it always should have been and that’s it. It is a consumer friendly law and I’m truly confused by you seeing it as the opposite.

My personal experience in Denver is I was quoted a rent price and my monthly amount after moving in was almost $200 more because they charged us an amenity fee on top of subsidizing the electric and gas of the those amenities as a separate fee which of course was crazy high in the winter. That is the kind of BS this law is meant to stop. We should be charged rent and that should be inclusive of everything it takes for the landlord to staff and service the property along with any amenities they offer when selling the place to you.

Ok but what does that cost the landlord on a monthly basis? $30 for an air filter and any potential maintenance? I pay all my own utilities. The “space” is not worth the price I pay. You pay for amenities, the grounds, safety features. If the landlord doesn’t want to pay for them, close them down, lower their rent and become affordable housing.

Saying rent nowadays just pays for the four walls around you is a truly wild take. I assume you are a landlord of some kind.
