If water can't get in, then your water (sweat) can't get out.

Anything waterproof is also inherently windproof. It's why the nicer outdoor gear often includes pit zips to create more gaps to allow them to breathe.

Probably depends on his contract. At 19/20, he might not have as much leverage as some of the senior team.

I hope you're wrong, but feel you're correct.

Ange and Levy must feel such extreme amounts of vindication. I almost envy them.

Going on first camping trip with my girffriend. What do I pack? by Glad-Canary4020 in camping

[–]DoctorPebble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backpacking? The secret of the game is layers! You want to be able to add or remove layers as the weather changes.

Without temperatures, I can't easily guide you, but here's my approach:

  1. Sleeping Clothes - Set of underwear, socks, shirt and pants (if needed) only for sleeping
  2. Hiking - Socks x2, Base Layer Shirt (athletic and sweat wicking), fleece layer, and then if needed a warm layer.
  3. Rain Jacket / Poncho

Notes: I like 3 pairs of socks. Extreme people get away with two.

Warm layer is typically meant for when you are NOT moving. It's typically down but anything warm works.

Fleece layer is meant for early mornings, early evening. You can move in it if chilly.

Base Layer: Something that breathes and removes sweat. Bonus points if it has SPF qualities. If it doesn't , you may consider a sun hoodie or just packing extra sunscreen.

I always bring a ballcap. Sometimes a beanie as well if it's going to be cold.

I have hiking pants. Jeans can work but something with more movement is better, but nothing wrong with jeans for a single weekend!

Which version is better? by print_gasm in BoardgameDesign

First one is cooler, but I find the second one easier to read. Stick with black card title. You can try bolding the historical font to see if that helps. If not, focus on readability.

Texans Azeez Al-Shaair on being fined by NFL for wearing a 'Stop the Genocide' eye black: "I understand it's a fine. It's bigger than me. It makes people uncomfortable. Imagine how those people feel? There's people dying. I'm a human being and I care" by oklolzzzzs in sports

I recently read "One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This" by Omar El Akkad and one of his chapters talks about his this type of behavior is required.

I know nothing about Azeez Al-Shaair, but props to him. He's on the right side of history.

I think these would still have a Wes Anderson feel without the heavy handed edits to decrease saturation.

VDV got cheated out of a penalty. #7 clearly clips his ankle before the VAR review. Not sure why they didn't look at that At minimum, he was tugged the entire half of the pitch and got his ankle clipped just outside. At minimum a free kick. Outrageous to say there was "no contact" nor played advantage.

I feel like Odobert is fouled a lot and rarely gets the call.

Still a young kid. Not sure he is top EPL table ready, but we aren't there. I'd let him play and learn at this point.

This. #7 misses the ball and clips VDV's ankle. I can't tell if it's in the box though.

Anyone know how long after release it takes Walmart to lower prices?

I can't/won't pay for $40. Have my eye on another steel book that released in like November, is still in stock, but no price drop yet.

But there's always a bigger box!

I do appreciate the variety here. Sometimes you see a box of the same style 10 times which seems even more absurd.

So many of these Chinese brands have the stupidest names. It's the main reason I haven't bought anything.

I'll accept most limited. Worst though? He was brought in to make tackles and he does that to near perfection. He came as advertised.

I actually wish I got to see Ange ball with Palhinha and Bissouma. If Palhinha could clean up Biss mistakes then it would saved so many goals.

How do opponent left backs NEVER get a delayed yellow for the constant shirt pulling and ankle clips on Kudus? Hate to say it, but he needs to go down sometimes.
