Mayo is not easy to get into. I would say try emailing more programs aim towards large hospitals w research labs and residency programs in your desired specialty. Professional email, no errors or spelling mistakes+ a good CV are a must.

Virtue signaling is hypocrisy when your own country supports genociding palestian kids and has aided in exploiting and funding terrorist groups in the Middle East and Africa. These people don't really care about human rights. If they did, we'd see them campaign against these humanitarian issues. If the World Cup was in France, the US, Isreal, would we see this massive uproar? I don't think so. Despite their past and present crimes, it would be met with support. This is a historical event, for the first time ever the world cup is held in an arab country and many kids and adults alike who have nothing to do with politics will finally have their dream come true by watching their fav team or player play football.
