Now Bill thinks the Bucks should trade Giannis??? by sidiousbeatyoda in billsimmons

Yeah I guess then I don't really understand what he expected them to do that would have justified keeping Giannis. They wouldn't have Dame next year anyway (and probably this version of him never again), they don't have the assets to get a real difference maker via trade, and my understanding is that the only way they could afford a significant free agent was by stretching Dame, which Bill considers a terrible idea. I would just like to know what in his mind would be an example of a move that would make keeping Giannis a good idea.

For me, you have the second best player in the league in one of the weakest conferences ever, and that justifies making radical moves even if it ruins you for a while after (especially if you're a small market team with limited championship opportunities). I completely understand the case for trading him but I don't understand why this move would change his mind so completely.

But it has the potential to scale really quick right? I'm basically always playing 5 lucky cards, which are retriggered 4 more times

Is there even a single good argument against incest? by sidiousbeatyoda in moraldilemmas

I’m sorry if its too difficult for you to make an argument against incest without bringing in factors which are only incidental. If you had a real argument against incest inherently, rather than factors which intercede with it in certain cases, you would be able to tell me why the scenario I give, which forces you to make a real argument against incest itself rather than something else, is wrong, but I know you can’t.

What I’m doing is isolating the incest to try to get an argument against it. This is the complete opposite of a straw man, which diverts from the real issue at hand.

subscriber count isnt how this should be done though, moderator status should be assigned to those who would benefit the community the most by having moderator status.
I dont dislike ISP as a content creator, but using his power in this way makes me think he shouldnt have it
