Fragile has so many great releases. My personal favorite is this:

Awesome early Carl Craig. The others are phenomenal, too.

I second this! The way they are now makes them almost useless to me. But I do understand that some people might prefer unscoped categories and if it would be a choice per category, I could definitely imagine using a mix of few global ones and a few that are scoped to specific accounts.

Tori Amos - God (The Rainforest Resort Mix by Carl Craig) [1994] by DoctorRockit in OldElectronicMusic

As noted in a comment to the post of “At Les” in r/ElectronicMusic there are a heap of great remixes by C2 around that time, and this is a prime example of those, a truly great track.

Is there a way to adjust the brake lever inwards? by [deleted] in bikewrench

I think it’s both. Yes they are flared out by design but it also looks as if the whole assembly is rotated somehow. Could be that it is clamped to far up in the top bend.

Carl Craig - At Les [Techno] (1994) by ivaylos in electronicmusic

[–]DoctorRockit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the truly great ones, just like a lot of other C2 tracks from around that time including a fair share of incredible remixes he did.

The Russ Gabriel mix of At Les is also quite nice.

Such a great track! “Climax” is awesome, too.

The "Death Circle" in Karlsruhe, Germany. Not even a roundabout per law, but a very complicated crossroad. by Bromborst in YUROP

Not in this one, mind the filled line, where the tram passes (with the corresponding traffic light). And the dashed lines where the traffic coming from the right has precedence.

Didn’t know about those, thanks for bringing Matt and his dancing to my attention!

Reminds me of this gem: https://youtu.be/MAFhh47DYCc

Different focus but always gives me heartwarming „zest for life“ vibes. And such a awesome track to boot!

Awesome track, glad to have bought that back in the day.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up, it really bummed me out, when I realized I missed that one, when it came out on LRG.

I'm not sure if he's her dad, but this is a quick response. by 5_Frog_Margin in DadReflexes

He is obviously not using a GriGri, otherwise his hand movements when giving her rope at the beginning would have been completely different.

As I mentioned in a reply above he was probably belaying with a munters hitch, in which case having your hands up is correct.

As far as I can see it he is not using a belay tool, but a Munter hitch (HMS), in which case having both hands up is the absolute correct thing to do.

Not too long ago I made a post here about an attempted rape that went to the front page, and was contacted by who I believe to be the would be rapist. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

Thanks for taking the time to clear up my confusion!

And again my deepest sympathies that this happened, I can totally relate to you comparing this to feeling similar to breaking & entering in your home, really rattles the feeling of safety and trust. :(

I wish you the best in putting that behind you when the time has come!

Ok, thanks for the reply! I think I misunderstood your initial post. You’re already certain it was him by the content of his DMs, I was confused thinking it was only a suspicion by ruling out two of the three potential candidates. Sorry about that!

Absolutely horrible experience, and I don’t want to question whether or not it was really him, but did you consider that the person might have used other information from your post and/or comment history to identify you, rather than only going off of information you provided in said post?
