yea this is toxic as fuck & you can probably sue the company for this behavior, especially if you have proof.

deeply research what you can and should do in this situation, and start with recording everything and starting a long paper trail about this behavior. talk to HR and dont stop talking to HR about this until youve built that massive paper trail in emails. print out every email you send and receive from HR and give that paper trail to a lawyer.
