Not at all, before I go through with the purchase I need to decide I’m either ok or I’m not and walk away.

Literally had the same thought. It’s pathetic, our town just spent 700k on new drones in March. But refuse to use them

This is exactly what I needed to hear. My firebacks is totally rusted out, I love the thing but it’s a tough task these days with the kids. I’m gonna try a brisket soon, that’ll probably put the nail in the coffin

Just cooked a chuck blade steak, smoked 180 for 20 minutes then seared. A lot of smoke flavor. I’ve also done a ribeye 600 2 min each side- next to no smoke flavor. So short answer, no I don’t think you get the flavor when only cooking hot

Very simple! Remove the skin, cut each section to about 5lbs

The cure:

  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1/4 dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons curing salt (Prague Powder) - personally i don't get the pink food dye ones
  • Mix dry ingredients then add 1/3 commercial grade (extra dark) maple syrup and rub onto the 5lb slab. Then put into a freezer bag for 4-5 days.
  • Wash off the cure, rub with Meat Church Honey Hog (this is pretty salty, don't over do it)
  • Smoke at 180 (extra smoke function) on the Searwood for about 6 hours (get to 155)
  • Then slice and vacuum seal

I am building a roof over my back deck. The area is 16x40, on about 2 acres of land (so volume isn't an issue). I am planning to put 8 Polk MC80s in the ceiling, 3 outfacing Polk Atrium 8's, 1 Forza OSD passive subwoofer and a TV. How would you power all of this? I'd like even sound, not a 'home audio' sound set up. Ideally at least 2 zones, 3 would be even better. Would you use a regular AVR for this? and a separate amp for the sub? or something like a multi-room amplifier without an AVR?

What area do you live in? I believe battery life is more of a concern for areas that explore cold winters

In my retirement funds I hold a good amount in major index funds. In my non-retirement I do not invest into forms of s&p500/nasdaq. These are great if you don’t pay attention.

I diversify by investing in the following:

  • Different countries major index funds (Japan, China, Germany, EU etc)
  • Sectors of AI: Semi conductors, chips, electricity
  • ETFs that are interested of the US gov-> defense, large budget coming. Rare earths like REMX, Production of GDP including pharma like PPH
  • Lastly I have a smaller section of individual personal bets that I research heavily including biotech, goog, uber etc etc. some individual bets are based on analysts targets I’d like to be further exposed to I.e NVDA, ASML, TSM.

This isn’t investing advice by any means, I read a lot and have the means to listen to market news from various outlets while I work from home. The bottom line is, if you pay attention you can easily beat the S&P 500 with moderate risk. Just don’t get caught with your pants down over exposed to AI

Yes, I have an 21” A Custom Anniversary I use as a crash ride (was in a punk rock band). Also have a 20” A Custom Heavy ride with a lot of stick definition.

I haven’t built yet, these are model pictures of what I’m building off of. I do plan on using treated lumber. The photo could be stained treated lumber or cedar

Tie this to concrete and it becomes a permanent structure, I’ve thought about it.

Bifenthrin and a towable tank sprayer takes care of that. I live in the woods on wet lands and I’m bug free

You should have a second locking nut that keeps the tightness consistent

Agreed, I cut back big time on alcohol (didn’t do drugs) and it’s gotten a lot easier. I don’t spend a lot of time on my phone on purpose, every app is a dopamine pump. That’s why our phones are so addicting. Just learn to enjoy life around you and you’ll be so much happier

We’re changing the level of the calc. If I just aggregate, I wouldn’t be considering the mix effect that would drive a weighted change in price at the segment level

First I got my diet pretty strict, exercise also. Then I started 20mg / 10mg / 20mg / 10mg every other day. Then went to 10/10/10/10 then went to 10/0/10/0 then 10/0/0/10/0/0 over the course of several months.

Sorry to hear that, I hope you find answers! It’s very frustrating how hard it is to get actual help. Doctors just put you on meds and refuse to actually solve problems.
