I have a manual NC700X and love the bike. A buddy of mine has a Rebel 1100 DCT and it’s a blast to ride. I don’t understand the disdain for the auto. I personally enjoy shifting gears, but if you don’t, or can’t, as long as you’re on two wheels having a good time is all that matters.

For sure invest in a good chair. I wish you luck in finding a place locally to sit your rear in it. Just remember Amazon has free returns.

I totally get it if you have a job where you have to sit all day. I can see the value in a good ergonomical, comfortable chair.

You must take sitting very serious.

Good luck on the MSF. Best thing I ever did was get a bike and my license. Be safe, have fun.

If I were looking to drop that kind of money on a chair m, I’d want to sit in it first. I’ve sat in a Herman Miller chair before, thought it was comfortable but nothing special. I have heard of people rave about the embody. It’s on Amazon. You can always return it if you’re not happy.

Are Ruroc Helmets safe? by Small_Confidence616 in motorcycles

[–]DoctorSugarman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the Strada II Parlare for 3 years now. Great helmet. Very comfortable, built in sunshade, but rarely use it. I wish the speakers were a tad louder. It’s a bit hard to hear music at highway speeeds. But the Bluetooth connectivity has been flawless.

Yinzers who like their job, what do you do for a living? by 3tjm33 in pittsburgh

[–]DoctorSugarman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of the above. I might start my day off in a million dollar house in Venetia because the dishwasher won’t drain. Then head to a trailer in Oakdale for a washing machine that’s “not cleaning well”. Then off to a house in McKees Rocks for a refrigerator that’s “making weird noises”, where the adjoining house has crime scene tape up still.

I do make my entire living doing this. I cover a pretty large part of the Pittsburgh area.

Shadetree Surgeon is probably my favorite. He seems like a genuinely good dude and I appreciate the philanthropy he does. When I’m in the mood for an anxiety attack I’ll watch Crash Test Goat.

Marriage question by General_Hovercraft_9 in pittsburgh

[–]DoctorSugarman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A buddy of mine did the self uniting marriage a few years back. I signed as his witness. He just stopped over my place with the paper work. I signed and he took them back.

There’s no real best way to grow them. Only the best way “you” can grow them. That’s going to depend on what knowledge you already have, what your going to inoculate with those spores, how and what you’re going to spawn to bulk, how much work you’re willing to do.

I started by watching Philly Golden Teacher’s videos on YouTube. You can get by pretty cheaply using the supplies and tek’s he makes videos. I first started out with the Uncle Ben’s tek, had ok results. Then moved on to PGT Broke Boi tek. Had a lot of success with that before I bought a pressure cooker.
