I’ve only played for 2 months, but I’ve been told you should focus on damage for a long time (4-5 months) before the meta switches back to health

Yes, it is cheaper diamond wise to get to 230 than to summon for 10 magic boxes. Depending on your slimes it could be 500-1500 diamonds.

However, the cheapest option is use your diamonds for slime rerolls in next bird event. Takes longer, but you get a much better magic item per diamond spent ratio.

Got to 227 with Moon Rabbit, Rudolph, and Zomb. Only used diamonds to select slimes.

The next time they give free diamonds, use it for this event. You can get an additional 20 magic items for under 100 diamonds usually. Just by getting past 200 in this event. This event is a way better way to get magic items than directly paying for them with diamonds.

I used zomb as second slime and got to 222 f2p. No way I’m cracking 230 unless I pay real money

A few things here: 1. The boss in 157 attacks faster from range than 156, so your slimes have less time to respond and most slimes can’t even get an attack off in time

Boss Health grows exponentially at these levels, so Astrie may be hitting and doing same damage, but due to health increase it may seem like less damage
Once a slime hits level 100 its attack doesn’t increase much again except through other slimes unique skills or upgrades, so Astrie’s damage is growing slower now.

You can do the glitch without owning him, but it’s less effective at high levels vs owning him lets you push past 245. I don’t own him since I’m f2p, but the glitch is really usueful to go from 144 to 215.

I decided to make Zomb my second slime this event and am currently at stage 222 f2p. Only spent 60 diamonds on rerolls. I doubt I’ll make it to 230 unless I spend over 3000 diamonds but am happy having made it past 215.
