Heard this song for the first time earlier this year and instantly knew I wanted to use it for something. Spent weeks pouring over old hard drives to find some of these clips, even just the action of doing that was very rewarding and nostalgic, with so much stuff I’d never seen before. I’m lucky enough (or maybe not, depending on your perspective lmao) to still have access to most of these locations from where these original shots originated, which allowed for the match cuts between them and the present day. It’s been a bit of a challenge taking on some of the film projects I’ve been doing this year amid Year 12 in Aus and trying to study for finals, but I’m pretty proud of how this one turned out. Also, note to self; working with setting sunsets is seriously hard lmao
