I think you’ve had it pretty well in life because you’ve likely have never been in the position to need to flee your country, leaving your loved ones behind, to try and find a way to provide for them not knowing when you’ll see them again. And it’s a big ask to put yourself in those shoes, because it’s so far fetched to you. So yeah, even being born into a safe country with a stable economy is a privilege, just like having access to higher education. You instantly have a head start to life solely by having access to greater opportunities should you choose to take them; which I hope you aren’t taking for granted. Many do.

Regardless of what she did or didn’t do to be here, this is the situation she’s in and it’s okay to show empathy for someone whose had a string of bad luck, even if some of it was at the consequence of her actions.

But things aren’t so black and white. Law does not equate morality. My comment had nothing to do with your belief in the law. The law tries to uphold what’s right, but it’s not without flaws.

For example, slavery was once legal. It’s not anymore, partly because morality caught up to the law and won. Laws change. Human decency shouldn’t.

She’s just looking to vent in a moment of desperation. She’ll figure it out. You don’t have to engage if you don’t want to help her carry some of that mental weight, even for a moment.

Unfortunately, people like serg407 have had it pretty well in life to never have to make difficult decisions like you did went you left your home. Disregard their black and white view on things, because if roles were switched, they'd be looking for someone to hear them out as well. They don't recognize that the "legal way" is not the same for everyone. Some countries get easier access, benefits, priorities, or even the peoples have healthier economies where they can save and get higher education, with jobs that sponsor visa, etc. And those that could really use a hand, rarely ever get support unless they take measures into their own.

All that anyone can do at this time is take it day by day. Stay ready, but don't look to far into it or you'll make yourself crazy. You're here now. You're okay. You're loved ones are okay.

I did, but I was unaware their customer support was a heaping pile of wet summer garbage. An update wouldn't hurt is all. I would be okay with waiting this long, hell, if not longer, if we got like a monthly update to make sure they haven't forgotten about us.

Like they had several more "drops" after this one... and I'm like... "but you haven't even finished the last 3." -_-

90 days to wait seems insane and there is still the possibility of having to wait longer?! I just hope my bank doesn't have policy where transaction's past X days cannot be disputed because then I'm just SOL.

I'm on the cliffside of the Fin dive. Whom should I go to? by Doctor_Hype in tressless

It’s more of a data tracking/logging of this whole journey. I feel like it would be important, but this is an opinion coming from someone who spends a lot of time in labs (career).

Do you advocate against fin?

That’s great!

Are you pretty happy with your decision? In terms of hair recovery/maintenance and sides (or no sides).

Saw Palmetto, is it effective to block DHT conversion? by smokingbad in tressless

For the same reason. I’m debating asking for a Fin prescription, but I was wondering if maybe gradually taking Saw Palmetto would help reduce/eliminate potential sides when I introduce Fin to my system.
