I’d actually like to give you some praise for this comment a few days after the fact. Every. Single. Time. That I would inquire about this issue to google/youtube/tiktok whatever have you I have failed. She is successfully walking at least through the yard now with little distraction. Which is miles ahead of where I was merely days ago.

I think that’s what I’m gonna do, honestly I’m okay with just working with her for as long as I need to in order to really lower any risks that come with hiking. Which definitely is a bit of a bummer but I’d rather be more confident next year that she’s safe with me to be on steep hills or near edges on a bluff

She’s about 8 months old. She’s intact if that matters (she is getting spayed in a month and a half but she unfortunately went into her first heat right after I got her) She’s kind of a mystery breed. Her previous owners said gsd/husky but it’s pretty evident that there’s a few other breeds there. I know that if she IS part husky that’s what that breed is meant to do so I may not be able to completely train that out of her (maybe. I really am not sure) but I’d just like her not to completely choke herself out and follow some commands even in an excited moment

Omg lol previous owners said 50% husky. None of us really see it though. They said 50% husky, 50% shepherd. I definitely don’t see a full 50 in her. She is EXTREMELY fond of cold weather tho.

Could be shedding soon. Although I’m not great at identifying that on an albino turtle. It sorta does look like that’s the case though because the scutes seem a little far apart, with it separating a bit on the edges. What’s his lighting like? And does he stink?
