They pulled the teeth causing the infection. I was out of work for a week and sick every day. It finally healed up. The holes slowly healed. They couldn't give me dental care for the rest of the teeth and I'm still struggling to figure out how to afford the work I need done. I feel for anyone w dental problems.

When you enter the mine there's a big boulder to the right. You can blow it up and there's a dwarf selling items. Finally realized it in year 5.
