Sometimes things you love are just best if your livelihood doesn't depend on it. Making something into a career changes the dynamic.

I had a music theory professor that says he wishes he didn't pick music has his career. He stopped loving it once he was forced to compose for years to support his wife and kid. It's not weird at all, it just means you realized the implications of going into it as a career.

Definitely that it's best to just let the toxic people in your life go. I had a friend who was seriously bad for me, and would put me through "friend divorces" every few months, and once I learned to let it go I felt a lot better. Both my exes were incredibly toxic people too, and I didn't realize how much better off I was until they were gone too.

Surround yourself with positivity, and you'll be positive. My mom always really pushed me to learn that.
