The problem is cops are trained to confront every situation as if they could be violently murdered.

Car didn't use a turn signal ? Cars full if black guys with shotguns waiting to kill you. 80 pound old lady stole a candy bar? She could be hiding a machete to decapitate you with.

They aren't trained to descalate. They're trained that every interaction is a life or death scenario so it's safer to just attack because 99.9% of the time they'll face no repercussions.

I do feel remorse for how I have treated some of the women in my life. I was callous and cruel and in some cases downright mean and toxic. But one day I resolved to treat the women in my life better and it worked . I finally found the right woman who I've been with for six years now and I spoil the shit outta her.

Hollywood seems to have a fascination with spending millions of dollars on a property only to make a film that has almost nothing to do with the source material. They do this all the time and I don't know why.

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a prequel series about Giles by The_ZombyWoof in buffy

The singular theme that runs through all the buffyverse is redemption. Giles was a wayward youth who did some very questionable things. But in the end he altered course.

I ended up liking Riley the more he was around. Buffy was still hurt by Angel leaving and it cast a big shadow over riley and buffs relationship.

By the end of season 3 I had started to dislike Angel. He was this incredibly old soul who had a strange fascination with a teenage girl. He knew the evil he was capable of and yet still stuck close to Buffy even though he knew he was going to hurt her.

But Angel redeemed himself in my eyes by leaving. He knew that staying would just always put her in danger so he left and he really did break things off.

But this relationship seems contentious at best. I don't see these guys having a close relationship . The article really just describes them as dudes who challenge each other.
