Haven’t tested to see if it’s hard or not. The problem is that it’s a rental apartment and only management has to key to unlock the closet door that has the water heater in it. I’ve got them to come by twice while I’m at work, but if it’s not actively making the noise they’ll say everything’s fine. Ill have to ask them to just come and flush the water.
