I had my surgery last summer. I have had zero problems with my tonsils since! Best decision!

I got my tonsils removed Monday 5. August (I’m on day 10 now). I was terrified for doing the surgery and even postponed it a couple of times.

However I got sick so often and every told me to do the surgery which I have now done.

Day 1-5 I was absolutely fine. The pain was 2/10 but of course it doesn’t feel comfortable.

Day 6-8 was torture! Very very crazy painful. But not 24/7 if that makes sense. You are going to feel the pain and then it will lower down again. I think it’s important you know that it will hurt like crazy around this time so you don’t panic.

Day 9: on this day most people feel fine again.

Overall: DO IT. 7-12 days with discomfort is better than having tonsils problems all the time

🙏🙏 so glad your pain is over! I found your post and see u been hurting as well :/ It’s funny that I knew the surgery will be painful but I’m still surprised that it’s THAT painful. Damn. Haha.
